am an independent consultant providing Technical Architecture, Project Management
and Expert Witness Services across a range of technologies and industries. I have
more than 15 years experience in the IT industry, having started as a programmer
and system manager, progressing through training, consultancy, pre-sales and management.
During this time I have found over and over again that a relatively small amount
of targeted effort early on in a project can prevent disaster later on, both in
the technical and management arena. However, much of my experience has come from
working to resolve problems later on in a project and I can provide help at any
